Tjock jubileumsantologi från tidskriften McSweeneys och grundaren Dave Eggers livsverk hyllas

Jonathan Russell Clark tokhyllar ny monsterantologi med texter från tidskriften McSweeneys: ”When It Becomes Clear What It Is That They Will Be Doing, I Will Be Very Interested in Their Doings: On The Best of McSweeneys”. Tonläget är så uppskruvat att man nästan undrar om Clark söker jobb på McSweeneys, men recensionen är en väldigt fin hyllning av Dave Eggers och ett erkännande av vad han gjort för amerikansk litteratur de senaste 15 åren. Och det låter väldigt lockande med texter av David Foster Wallace (Elizabeth Klemm), Wells Tower, Aleksandar Hemon, Zadie Smith, Jonathan Ames, Sheila Heti, Sam Lipsyte, George Saunders med flera. Vi ska genast försöka få loss ett recensionsexemplar.
